Suspected stroke patients are taken by 112 EMS to certified stroke units (Stroke Units), imaged rapidly, treated with thrombolysis, and transferred to neurovascular centres for thrombectomy when indicated.
Germany ratified the CRPD in 2009; the BGG and Social Code IX mandate accessibility and rehabilitation. Public transport and rehab are strong; full step-free coverage at all stations and private buildings is still in progress.
